The Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System, who has come to the end of his stay in Cameroon, came to say goodbye to the Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Alamine Ousmane Mey, on 19 June 2023.

At the end of the audience, Mathias Zana Naab, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System, expressed his satisfaction with regards to the collaboration he had with the Government during his stay in Cameroon. He thanked MINEPAT and, through it, the entire government. “I have come here to thank the Minister of the Economy, and through him the Government, for the sincere collaboration between Cameroon and the United Nations System. When I arrived in 2020, one of the objectives was to strengthen the relationship of trust between our Institution and the Government. Today, I am very pleased to tell you that this relationship is well rooted, and I thank the Government its trust in the United Nations System,” said Mathias Zana Naab, at the end of the audience. The meeting between the two personalities also enabled the outgoing Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System to take stock of the actions carried out within the framework of coordination in the United Nations country team.
